Photography is one of the most important investments you’ll make for your day, because long after the cake is eaten and the confetti has been swept away, your photographs are what bring those memories flooding back.

My approach to wedding photography is relaxed and documentary-led, capturing the genuine moments of your day as they unfold. My wedding photography prices reflect not just the hours I spend with you on the day, but also the years of experience, care and attention that go into telling the story of your wedding.

Wedding Photography Coverage

Every wedding is different, which is why I offer flexible coverage options to suit your plans. Most couples choose coverage from the excitement of getting ready through to the celebrations on the dance floor, ensuring the full story of the day is captured.

Typical coverage includes:

• Morning preparations
• The ceremony
• Relaxed couple portraits
• A handful of organised group photographs
• The drinks reception and speeches
• Evening celebrations and dancing

Of course, every wedding is unique, so we can chat about what works best for your day.

What’s Included

When you book me as your wedding photographer, you’re not just paying for the hours I spend photographing your day. A lot of time and care go into creating your final gallery, from planning with you before the wedding to carefully editing every image afterwards.

Your wedding photography package includes:

• Relaxed documentary coverage of your wedding day, capturing natural moments as they unfold
• Over 15 years of wedding photography experience, nothing fazes me!
• Consultation and planning chats — I’m always happy to answer questions throughout the planning process, and about a week before the wedding, we’ll go through the finer details of the day together. We’ll confirm timings, discuss any formal group photographs and chat through your plans so I fully understand how your day will unfold
• Your final wedding photographs, professionally edited and delivered in high-resolution on a USB
• A password-protected online gallery so you can easily view and share your photographs with family and friends
• 50 printed thank-you cards featuring a photograph of your choice, with the details of your gallery printed inside
• An oak tree planted in your name in The National Forest as a lasting celebration of your wedding
• Full personal printing rights, so you can print and enjoy your photographs whenever you like

You’re also very welcome to personalise your photography package with extras such as additional coverage, beautiful wedding albums or framed prints.

A Little Extra

As a small thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding, I also plant an oak tree in your name in The National Forest after your wedding day.

I’ve spent most of my life living on the Forest, and it’s a place that holds a lot of meaning for me. Many important moments in my life — birthdays, weddings and the arrival of children — have always been celebrated there by planting trees. So it seemed right to do this for the couples I work with.

Wedding Photography Add-Ons

Alongside your wedding photography coverage, there are a number of beautiful extras you can choose to include in your package.

Some couples like to add things such as albums or prints when they first book, while others prefer to wait until after the wedding, once they’ve seen their photographs and relived the day through their gallery.

There’s absolutely no pressure to decide everything straight away — these options are always available, whether you’d like to include them as part of your package now or come back to them later once your photographs are ready. It’s completely up to you.

Wedding Albums

There’s something really special about seeing your wedding photographs printed and bound together as a story of the day.

I offer a range of beautifully made albums, from contemporary printed book-style albums (which include a complimentary set of smaller parent books) to more traditional mounted photograph albums.

The design process is really relaxed and collaborative. You’ll choose the photographs you’d love included, I’ll design the album layouts, and then you can tweak and approve everything until it feels just right. You’ll also be able to choose from a lovely range of cover materials and finishes, so the final album feels yours completely.

Wedding Videographers

Having a photographer and videographer who work well together makes a real difference on the day.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside some fantastic wedding videographers whose style and approach complement mine perfectly. If you’re thinking about having a wedding film as well as photography, I’d be very happy to share my list of recommended videographers.

Engagement Shoots

I don’t include engagement shoots as a standard part of my packages, mainly because many couples book them thinking it will show them what it’s like to be photographed on their wedding day — and in reality, it’s quite different.

As a documentary wedding photographer, my approach on a wedding day is to blend into the background as much as possible. I capture moments as they naturally happen, stepping in with a little guidance only if it’s helpful. Most of the time, couples tell me they forget the camera is even there.

An engagement shoot, on the other hand, is much more of a traditional photo session. We’ll head somewhere lovely, spend some time together, and I’ll gently guide you so you can relax and focus on each other while we create some natural portraits of the two of you. It’s a really nice experience, but it’s definitely a different kind of photography from how I work during a wedding.

That said, if you’d love some beautiful photographs of the two of you before the wedding, I’m always very happy to arrange an engagement shoot — they can be a lot of fun and a lovely way to capture this stage of your story together.

Prints & Wall Art

Your photographs don’t have to live only on a screen.

You can order professional prints directly from your private online gallery, making it easy to share photographs with family and friends.

If you’re interested in larger prints, framed pieces or wall art such as metallic or acrylic prints, I’m very happy to send over my full print options and price list.

Additional USBs

If you’d like extra USB copies of your wedding photographs for family members, these are available and come beautifully packaged, making a lovely gift for parents or close relatives.
