Time to show my face!!!

I have had lots of lovely new followers and thought I should show my very camera shy chops and tell you a little bit about me, while also asking for your help!!!!

Wow-what a start to a post!!

I have been involved in charity work most of my life from marine life charities, living on a marine life hospital ship for the last 2 years of my photography degree ( way more fun than uni!) To fundraising for Sussex Homeless Support in Brighton. Volunteering in a rural school in Africa with my husband and kids. As well as more recently working with the awesome @hospicesofhope travelling to Romania and photographing the incredible work they do!

One of the most difficult things I did was volunteering in the refugee camp 'The Jungle' in Calais. Over the course of about 18 months, I raised money and sourced donations, including 4 caravans, that we then towed over to France. ( trust me when I say I still cannot reverse a caravan!!) In the camp, I handed out clothes and food and worked on various art projects with the refugees. It was the most life-altering and affirming work I have ever done! On many occasions, I worked with the amazing charity @refugease and that is how I come round to asking for your help!!!

I am helping to organise a 2 WEEK, online auction to raise money for Refugease, who have set up a network to provide aid directly to people at the Ukrainian border. We have an amazing array of items from theatre and concert tickets and many many more INCLUDING!! a 2 hour, 1-1 photography lesson with ME!!!!
