With small intimate weddings of up to 30 people being allowed as of the 4th July 2020, what are your thoughts if you where hoping to get married in 2020?
I am working with a few of my couples who are hoping to get married in the next few weeks. Which for me is obviously very exciting!! I can not wait to pick up my cameras and photograph a wedding!
What are your thoughts? With so many couples looking to postpone their larger weddings till later in the year or 2021. Would you consider have your wedding ceremony this summer?
The brides and grooms I am working with, hoping to get married in the next few weeks, feel they just want to get married this summer. They are still planning to have a big reception next year. Now that the government guidelines are that you can have up to 30 guests, up from 6. It does mean that you can have your wedding ceremony with more of those important family members.
I have photographed quite a lot of small wedding ceremony BEFORE covid. Yes there was a time before this craziness! I have always loved photographing these intermit weddings. I think it is very romantic. Don’t get me wrong having all the people you love at your wedding sharing your dream day, is surely how every couple imagines their perfect day. However small weddings with just the very closest of family and friend can be wonderful.
As your wedding photographer I can socially distance, while still capturing all the love and emotion on the day, the perfect way to capture natural and candid photographs!! Photographing your wedding ceremony and in the case of the upcoming weddings, heading somewhere special for photograph the couple afterwards.
While it may not be the day that you had planned. It could still be a wonderful and joyous day!
I would love to hear your thoughts, would you consider a small ceremony this summer while still postponing your big celebration?
