Happy Anniversary to this wonderful couple! 1 year ago today Jo and Neale celebrated their beautiful wedding at the stunning Upwaltham Barns. As you may know I have a particular soft spot for this wedding venue as I also got married here. This wonderful sussex barn venue is nestled into the south downs it has a unique charm, run as a family business it a exudes a warmth and friendliness that has made it one of the most popular wedding barn venues in West Sussex.
Jo and her bridal party got ready in Jasmine cottage. The perfect secret vantage point, from which to peak out and see the guests arriving for the wedding ceremony. For me, one of the highlights of the day was capturing Jo’s Dad, Ray’s reaction to seeing how beautiful his daughter looked in her wedding dress! Photographing these emotional moments on a wedding day are what I love most about my job!!
With an emotional ceremony in the East Barn, the weather held for confetti and drinks reception in the courtyard. With the mouth watering canapés from Nibbles2Nosh. I speak from extensive experience when I say you will not find better food ANYWHERE!!!
Jo and Neale had decorated the South Barn so beautifully, the white wedding balloons giving height to the centre pieces on the tables, coupled with delicate cottage garden styled flowers. Their table names relating to their love of travel and many adventures.
A wedding day flies by and taking some time out to go and photograph the bride and groom is a perfect opportunity for you to catch up and enjoy each others company and allows me to capture natural and relaxed shots of you! With Jo and Neale we walked up the hill behind the barns, that has the most incredible views of the surrounding sussex countryside.
With a live band and dancing into the late evening was the perfect end to the perfect day!!! I hope you are both celebrating today and I send you all my love!!!!!
